This event is FREE!  Brazilian Beat is back for its 7th year in Downtown Boca. The official celebration of Brazilian independence. Live music, street dancing, costumed dancers, a Capoeira circle, samba drummers, a Zumba showcase, and Brazilian cuisine and cocktails.

Diogo Nogueira, one of today's biggest names in Brazilian music, is headlining the 2018 Brazilian Beat.  He is a Latin Grammy award singer, instrumentalist and composer.

4th of July - Celebrating Independence Day

 

The Village of Wellington, begins with a Patriotic Pool Party at the Wellington Aquatics Complex from noon to 5 p.m., followed at 6 p.m. by the Fourth of July Celebration at Village Park on Pierson Road.  Limited parking is available at Village Park.  Shuttle service to and from Village Park will be available starting at 5:30 p.m. leaving from Nordstrom at the Mall at Wellington Green.

The Village of Royal Palm Beach, will be held at Royal Palm Beach Commons Park.  Starting at 4 p.m. with fun and food preceding the fireworks display at 9 p.m.  Parking is available throughout the commons Park, but it is recommended that you show up early.  There will be shuttle bus services starting at 4 p.m.

WELLINGTON'S MEMORIAL DAY OBSERVANCE

TO ALL OUR VETERANS - THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!

Monday, May 28, 2018 - starts at 8:15 a.m. with a parade, followed by a ceremony at 8:30 a.m.

The parade will start at the Wellington Municipal Complex on Forest Hill Blvd. and will continue to the Wellington Veterans Memorial at the corner of South Shore Blvd. and Forest Hill Blvd., where the ceremony will be held.

The parade will include Boy Scout troops; Girl Scout troops, Veterans' groups; Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office Honor Guard; and Representatives of Palm Beach County Fire-Rescue.  There will be fire trucks and SWAT vehicles in the parade.

Local Veterans will be listed during the ceremony.  Veterans are encouraged to register to be recognized.

4th of July Celebrations in Palm Beach County

4th on Flagler

From 5 pm to 10 pm at the east end of Clematis on the West Palm Beach Waterfront.  There will be food, exhibits and entertaining with an 18-minute fireworks display.  Some of the bands will be playing at the Meyer Amphitheatre.

Lake Worth

A parade of rafts will begin at 11 am.  Starting at 3 pm there will be live performances, food, arts and crafts.  Fireworks are planned to go off at 9 pm at Bryant Park, 100 S. Golfview Road, Lake Worth.

Town of Jupiter

Events start at 4 pm.  Get your tickets early for some music and baseball.  At 6 pm the Palm Beach Cardinals take on the Bradenton Marauders at the Roger Dean Stadium followed by a Kenny Chesney Tribute Band performance.  Baseball game ticket prices are $10 for adults, $8 for kids/seniors and $7 each for a group of 15 people or more.  The fireworks display will start after the baseball game.  Roger Dean Baseball Stadium, 4715 Main St., Jupiter.

Wellington

The events take place noon to 5 pm starting at the Wellington Aquatics Complex with a patriotic pool party.  Also included:  A performance from Eagles Tribute bank “The Long Run.”  There will be vendors, food trucks and activities such as pony rides, rock walls, lawn games, bingo and more.  A fireworks display caps the evening starting at 9:15 pm.  Noon to 6 pm at the Wellington Aquatics complex, 12072 Forest Hill Blvd.  6 pm to 10 pm at Village Park, 11700 Pierson Road.

Lantana

Starting at 6 pm to 9:30 pm is a fireworks event at Bicentennial Park at 321 E. Ocean Ave.  The event includes a chili cook-off, live music, activities and contests.  Attendees should brin chairs or blankets.  Fireworks start at 9:10 pm.  There will be free shuttles from the K-mart parking lot starting at 6:30 pm.

Delray Beach

The event starts at 4 pm to 9:30 pm.  Featuring a sandcastle bulding contest and BurgerFi food eating contest for adults and kids.  The band Holidazed and singer Daya will perform.  Fireworks will be launched from the north end of the beach.  A1A and Atlantic Ave, Delray Beach.

Boca Raton

Starting at 6:30 pm there will be performances from the Gardens Pop Orchestra, jugglers, balloon makers and more.  Kids can enjoy the Fun Zone and dessert food trucks will be serving goodies.  Sunset cove Amphitheater, 20405 Amphitheater Circle, Boca Raton.

Royal Pam Beach

From 1 pm to 10 pm at royal Palm Beach’s Commons Park.  There will be carnival rides, a Kids Fun Zone, food trucks and a fireworks show set to begin at 9 pm.  Tribute bands will play throughout the day.  11600 Poinciana Blvd, Royal Palm Beach.

Greenacres

The events are starting at 5:30 pm.  Opening ceremonies to begin at 7 pm.  There will be a “Most Patriotic Dresses” contest, rides, games and food available.  The band A Rogue Theory will perform.  The fireworks show will take place at the end of the event.  Greenacres Community Park, 2905 Jog Road, Greenacres.
