Wellington Fall Festival

Wellington will hold its annual Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 3 to 10 p.m. at Village Park on Pierson Road. Operating continuously from 2:30 to 10:30 p.m., a convenient, free shuttle runs from the Mall at Wellington Green, near Macy’s, right to all the action.

Costume contests will be held at 4 and 7 p.m., with a pumpkin pie eating contest at 8 p.m.

Events include the popular haunted hallways, laser tag, hayrides, trick-or-treating, contests, bounce houses, a petting zoo, pony rides and face painting, plus more than 18 food trucks.

Children’s bracelets to take part in the activities are $7 in advance and $10 the day of the event. Adult bracelets, which are $5 both in advance and on the day of the event, are only needed for the haunted hallways, laser tag or hayrides.

Monster Mash Bash with classic Halloween songs to dance to and a DJ on stage.

This event is FREE!  Brazilian Beat is back for its 7th year in Downtown Boca. The official celebration of Brazilian independence. Live music, street dancing, costumed dancers, a Capoeira circle, samba drummers, a Zumba showcase, and Brazilian cuisine and cocktails.

Diogo Nogueira, one of today's biggest names in Brazilian music, is headlining the 2018 Brazilian Beat.  He is a Latin Grammy award singer, instrumentalist and composer.

4th of July - Celebrating Independence Day

 

The Village of Wellington, begins with a Patriotic Pool Party at the Wellington Aquatics Complex from noon to 5 p.m., followed at 6 p.m. by the Fourth of July Celebration at Village Park on Pierson Road.  Limited parking is available at Village Park.  Shuttle service to and from Village Park will be available starting at 5:30 p.m. leaving from Nordstrom at the Mall at Wellington Green.

The Village of Royal Palm Beach, will be held at Royal Palm Beach Commons Park.  Starting at 4 p.m. with fun and food preceding the fireworks display at 9 p.m.  Parking is available throughout the commons Park, but it is recommended that you show up early.  There will be shuttle bus services starting at 4 p.m.

WELLINGTON'S MEMORIAL DAY OBSERVANCE

TO ALL OUR VETERANS - THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!

Monday, May 28, 2018 - starts at 8:15 a.m. with a parade, followed by a ceremony at 8:30 a.m.

The parade will start at the Wellington Municipal Complex on Forest Hill Blvd. and will continue to the Wellington Veterans Memorial at the corner of South Shore Blvd. and Forest Hill Blvd., where the ceremony will be held.

The parade will include Boy Scout troops; Girl Scout troops, Veterans' groups; Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office Honor Guard; and Representatives of Palm Beach County Fire-Rescue.  There will be fire trucks and SWAT vehicles in the parade.

Local Veterans will be listed during the ceremony.  Veterans are encouraged to register to be recognized.
